About Us
We are a group of people who meet regularly to practice sitting meditation in St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada.
It is not necessary to be a member of the group to participate in any of our events or current programs (unless prerequisites are required). All who are interested in meditation and these teachings are welcome regardless of any particular religious affiliation. We express our connection to the group and to our global community by practicing, studying, participating and providing financial support, all according to our individual time, energy and resources.
The group is led by an eight-member Council. A Council Business Meeting is held each month. Everyone is welcome to attend.
A community meeting is held on the last Sunday of every month following regular sitting. This is a good time for socializing, for questions and answers, and an opportunity to practice the gong!
If you would like to learn to meditate, qualified instructors are available free of charge at our regular Wednesday sittings.
